WEEK 14
Tire Curve Modelling Extended
I started by gathering a collection of reference photos that included different tyre features and angles. These pictures served as our visual manual and the basis for building a highly accurate and realistic model. I methodically set up background photos for reference in the 3D view and optimised our Blender workspace for effective modelling circumstances. I narrowed in on the tire's profile, carefully shaping the cross-section with the help of the reference photos. This required a great deal of fine tuning and meticulous attention to detail to make sure that the model's dimensions closely matched those of the actual tire. Then we started working on the difficult job of creating the tread pattern. I went into the modifier tab and used an array, beizer curve and a bevel to manipulate my desired shape.
